This page is for advertisers, customers and anyone who wants to know exactly what adintel keeps from the Meta Ad Library. It is deliberately specific.
Where the ads come from
All ads come from Meta's public Ad Library, which Meta publishes so that anyone can see the ads an advertiser is running. We read it through a licensed third-party feed and, where available, Meta's official Ad Library API. We do not log in to Meta as a user, we do not use anyone's credentials, and we never connect to an advertiser's ad account.
What we store per ad
- The Ad Library id, the advertiser's page id and page name
- The creative: image or video file and a thumbnail, plus a hash of the media so reuses collapse into one creative
- The copy: primary text, headline, description, call to action, display and destination link with tracking parameters stripped
- Dates: when the ad started and, if it stopped, when; platforms it ran on; languages
- Meta's own disclosures as published: whether the advertiser runs 3 or more variants ("scaled"), whether the media is declared AI-generated or digitally created, the "Paid for by" byline, and, for ads delivered in the EU or classed as political, Meta's reported reach, impression and spend ranges
- Machine-generated enrichment: a transcript of the video, and an AI reading of the creative (hook, angle, claims, emotional drivers, content style, persona, offer type, production style)
- Landing-page screenshots at desktop and phone width, taken by our crawler
What we do not have
- No spend, impressions, clicks, conversions or ROAS for commercial ads. Meta does not publish them and we do not estimate them. Our Winning Probability score is an inference from runtime, reuse, copy variants, whether the ad is still live and Meta's scaled flag. It is labelled as an inference everywhere it appears.
- No targeting data, audience data or personal data about who saw an ad
- No data from inside any advertiser's Meta account
- No content from an advertiser's website beyond the public landing page screenshot
How the library is shared
The ad library is shared across customers: a brand tracked by one customer is crawled once and visible to all. Boards, notes, tags, ratings, comments, uploads and which brands you track are private to your Space. Ads you upload yourself are never shown to another Space.
Retention
Ads stay in the library after they stop running, because runtime history is the point. Media is stored on Cloudflare R2. Enrichment is recomputed when models improve; the original ad record is kept as collected.
Removal on request
If you are an advertiser or rights holder and want a creative, a brand page or a landing-page screenshot removed from adintel, email [email protected] with the Ad Library id or page URL. We remove it within five business days and do not re-collect it. No justification is required.
Customer data deletion
Deleting your account removes your boards, notes, tags, ratings, comments, uploads, tracked-brand list and account record within 30 days. Shared library ads that other customers track are unaffected, because they are public ads, not your data.
